Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Must pass a pulmonary fit test.

• Familiarity with industrial painting techniques and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean surfaces by removing grease, dirt, and contaminants using solvents and soap.
• Select and mix coating liquids to match colors and specs using mixers.
• Pour coatings, connect spray systems, and adjust spray valves for width and pressure.
• Apply primers and finishing coats with even coverage for quality finishes.
• Remove rust from metal surfaces using grinders or brushes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
• Operate overhead cranes and monorail paint hoists to position items for painting.
