Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a central sterile processing program preferred.
• Certification within one year of employment is required; certification in CSTP preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization standards and procedures; proficiency with basic computer functions.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination of instruments and equipment and recording for decontamination process.
• Inspection, assembly, and packaging of instruments and devices following procedures.
• Sterilization or high-level disinfection and safety testing per IFUs and regulations.
• Sterile storage, inventory, rotation and distribution of instruments and supplies.
