Job summary

MercyOne Health System in Dubuque seeks a Sonographer for night shift to perform ultrasound exams across OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, and other related procedures. You will support radiologists, teach students and hospital staff, and contribute to Magnet-designated nursing excellence. The role requires ARDMS registration or eligibility and BLS compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with ARDMS (RDMS/RDCS/RVT/RMSKS) or be board-eligible and register within one year.
• ARDMS preferred but ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted.
• Maintains active registry status with ARDMS and completes required CME credits (30 CME’s every 3 years).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, and other related procedures.
• Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies.
• Provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff.
