Job summary

MercyOne is seeking an Ultrasound Professional for an evening shift in Iowa. You will perform quality ultrasound exams across infant to geriatric populations, educate patients, and adhere to safety and procedural standards in our ultrasound department.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required or board-eligible within one year of hire.
• Must maintain active registry status (CME as required).
• BLS certification required within 30 days and renewed every 2 years.
• ABUSE mandatory reporter training within six months of hire and every three years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures with proper positioning and technical factors for diverse patient populations.
• Conduct clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations.
• Educate patients about exams and obtain consent when needed.
• Follow established safety protocols and departmental procedures.
• Utilize 2D, Doppler, and other ultrasound modes to obtain diagnostic images.
