Job summary
SA Recycling is seeking a Shredder (Mill) Supervisor for the night shift in East Point, GA to lead the recycling yard labor force and directly oversee the maintenance of our industrial auto shredder, maximizing production efficiency while upholding strict safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of college education with a science emphasis, strong PLC troubleshooting skills, and bilingual English/Spanish communication to coordinate with night crews and quality control
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of college education with science emphasis.
- Fluent bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot PLC systems.
- Proven experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee night shift yard labor and shredder operations.
- Maintain and monitor the industrial auto shredder.
- Track critical equipment readings and ensure safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Enforce safety protocols and respond to emergencies.
- Adjust daily priorities based on yard conditions.
