Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a motivated transporter to aid shipping operations in Dobson, NC. You will move products, pallets, and cages, verify paperwork, and assist with inventory while following safety policies and NCC guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous shipping experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work unsupervised and stay self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Transport product using hand carts and pallet jacks under supervision and safety rules.
• Ensure product is labeled, stacked and wrapped correctly for shipping.
• Scan and track pallets from production to cooler.
• Verify and process required paperwork accurately.
• Assist with inventory counts as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
