Job summary

Wayne Farms in Palestine, TX is hiring for a shipping/warehouse associate on the night shift (Mon-Fri 11:30pm-7:30am). Pay rate is $20.55 per hour, with benefits available day one and on-the-job training provided.

You will transport product with hand carts and pallet jacks, label and wrap, scan pallets, verify paperwork, and assist with inventory while following safety policies and NCC Animal Welfare guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping experience is a plus.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shifts.
• Sound work ethic and reliable character.

Responsibilities

• Transport product using hand carts, pallet jacks, etc., following safety protocols.
• Ensure product is labeled, stacked and wrapped correctly for shipping.
• Scan and track pallets from production to cooler.
• Verify and process required paperwork accurately.
• Assist with inventory counts as needed.
• Comply with company policies and NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines.
