Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a reliable shipping and warehouse associate to transport product and assist with inventory at our facility. You will use hand carts and pallet jacks, label and wrap products for shipping, and complete required paperwork while adhering to NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping is a plus.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shifts.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Transport product using hand carts, pallet jacks, etc; following all safety protocols.
• Ensure all product is labeled, stacked and wrapped correctly for shipping.
• Scan and track pallets from production to cooler.
• Verify and process required paperwork.
• Assist with verifying accurate inventory counts as needed.
• Follow company policies and NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and applicable laws.
