Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, is seeking a Bun Shipping Utility Person to support daily shipping, inventory, and material-handling operations. The shift runs 2AM–10AM, Sunday night to Thursday night, in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 6 months in manufacturing; 3 months of heavy machinery experience is preferred. You will participate in monthly counts and ensure safety and efficiency throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3 months of experience operating heavy machinery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate operational needs at the start of each shift.
• Perform inventory responsibilities including tagging, scanning, locating, and counting bun inventory.
• Operate and monitor conveyors to assist movement of foam in High-Bay and Looper.
• Operate the Looper crane to move, position, and organize foam inventory safely and efficiently.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts with accuracy and documentation.
• Fill in for truck line employees and crane operators during absences.
• Clear the pour line at the end of daily VISCO pours and prep for next cycle.
• Support shipping activities such as staging, labeling, pallet movement and order prep.
• Communicate with supervisors to coordinate workflow and address issues.
