Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, is seeking a Bun Shipping Utility Person to support daily shipping, inventory, and material-handling operations. The role requires prioritizing tasks at the start of each shift and performing a wide range of duties to keep High-Bay, Looper, and shipping activities running smoothly.

Responsibilities include inventory tagging, conveyor and crane operation, monthly counts, and assisting with order preparation.

Qualifications

Must have a High School diploma or GED or equivalent
At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience operating heavy machinery is preferred (3 months)

Responsibilities

Evaluate operational needs at shift start and determine priority tasks
Perform inventory duties including tagging, scanning, locating, and counting bun inventory
Operate conveyors to move foam in High-Bay and Looper areas
Operate the Looper crane to move, position and organize inventory safely
Participate in monthly inventory counts with accurate documentation
Fill in for truck line employees and crane operators during absences
Clear the pour line after daily VISCO pours and prep for next cycle
Support shipping activities such as staging, labeling, pallet movement and order prep
Communicate with supervisors to coordinate workflow and address issues
Follow safety, quality and housekeeping standards
