Job summary

TE Connectivity in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Shipper/Receiver III for the 10:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. shift (Sun night to Thur night).

The role blends manual and clerical shipping duties, uses SAP for data entry, and involves loading/unloading trucks, selecting materials, and preparing shipments. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong keyboarding, good communication, math skills, and English proficiency; SAP experience is a plus. Forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong keyboarding and computer skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong Math skills.
• Experience using SAP is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Forklift Certification preferred; periodic recertification required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be proficient in the English language.
• 1 to 2 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks; stage material.
• Completes data entry.
• Prepares outgoing materials using scanning, labeling, wrapping; completes required paperwork.
• Maintain recycle cardboard by creating bales, weighing and recording on tally sheet.
• Help maintain warehouse inventory with row audits and variance investigations.
• Receive incoming material in SAP (ERP) warehouse management system.
• Process inventory transactions in the ERP system.
• Replenishment of stores locations daily; operate a manual floor lift truck.
• Pull finished goods items for shipping; provide backup support.
• Process picks as required.
• General housekeeping of work area.
• Routine maintenance/repair of equipment.
• Report safety hazards, quality and production issues to supervision.
• Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
