Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Set Up Technician for a permanent, on-site role in Lees Summit, MO. The position requires performing mechanical and electrical repairs on production equipment, setting up for runs, and supporting mold changes in a plastic manufacturing environment.

The role operates on a front-half night shift (Sun-Wed, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with a pay rate of $24/hr+. The company provides full medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 5% annual bonus and regular pay reviews.

Qualifications

• Education in manufacturing, maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Certifications in manufacturing or maintenance are a plus.
• Experience with plastic injection and blow molding processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair production equipment mechanically to ensure safe operation.
• Repair electrical systems on equipment per procedures.
• Set up equipment for scheduled runs and configure tooling.
• Shut down equipment safely at end of runs.
• Restart equipment after maintenance and changeovers.
• Assist with mold changes on plastic mold equipment.
• Assemble/disassemble molds and related components.
