Job summary

Collabera is seeking a Senior Process Engineer, Mechanical Assembly to own night-shift line performance in a high-automation manufacturing environment. You will lead a team of technicians, drive OEE improvements, and ensure operational continuity through autonomous decision-making.

You will apply strong mechanical intuition, data-driven problem solving, and cross-functional communication to mentor staff and coordinate with daytime engineering and design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial engineering.
• 4–7+ years in manufacturing or industrial operations, night shift leadership preferred.
• Ability to manage a technical team under high-pressure conditions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority on the floor during overnight hours.
• Mentor night shift technicians and set daily priorities.
• Track OEE, downtime, and cycle times to identify bottlenecks.
• Assess equipment issues and propose robust, safe fixes.
• Document issues and communicate with day shift teams for continuity.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve reliability.
