Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Hillsboro is seeking an Overnight Senior Living Universal Worker to support residents and our community. This role covers housekeeping, maintenance tasks, and supportive duties to enhance daily life for residents.

As a full-time Universal Worker, you will maintain public areas, assist with meals and events, answer calls, and help with resident information while upholding our values of dignity and individual care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years housekeeping experience preferred.
• Meet background check requirements and specific job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance tasks such as defrosting refrigerators, changing bulbs and filters, and maintaining safety equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, restrooms, and apartments.
• Delivers papers and supplies, answers phones, and assists with resident information and mailings.
• Supports dining and event setups and assists with routine housekeeping duties.
• Assists with training and safety procedures and responds to emergencies per protocol.
