Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a Senior Living Caregiver CMA, CMT for the Springfield area. The role supports residents on a night-shift schedule (11pm–7am) in a loving, community-focused environment.

You will assist with daily living activities, medications as permitted, and document progress to ensure high-quality care. Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CMA/CMT, CNA license or two years previous experience as a Caregiver, but willing to train.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

Education

CMA/CMT certification or CNA license

Two years experience as Caregiver or willingness to train
