Job summary

ROCKWOOL invites applications for a Senior Machine Operator-Format/Milling at our Byhalia, MS facility. The role runs 6:00PM-6:30AM with rotating days off on a 2-2-3 basis. You will operate and troubleshoot machines, inspect materials, and ensure production stays within specifications.

We seek an experienced operator with strong mechanical aptitude, capable of reading specifications, and using calipers and micrometers. Benefits start day one, with growth opportunities and safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years machine operator experience.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains machines including sanding, shaping, and cutting.
• Performs visual inspection of raw materials entering the area and verifies quality on exit.
• Uses measurement tools to ensure production is in specification.
