Job summary

Career Fair Connection is seeking a Senior Chemical Process Engineer for the night shift (11pm–7:30am) to drive process improvements across manufacturing operations. You will lead cross-functional teams, design and optimize chemical processes, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with HSE, Quality, and Maintenance, develop SOPs, analyze KPIs, and push continuous improvement initiatives to cut costs and boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field, hands-on problem solving.
• 5-10 years of chemical process engineering or production, with 2-3 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Proven track record leading projects and teams in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of chemical process principles, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or similar frameworks is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HSE, Quality, and Maintenance to maintain safe, compliant production.
• Develop and enforce engineering standards, SOPs for consistency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze process data and KPIs to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for new and existing products.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through development phases: validation, scale-up, commissioning, implementation.
• Prepare and deliver technical reports and project updates to senior management.
