Job summary

Sedron Technologies, LLC is seeking a Process Operations Technician in Fair Oaks, IN. The role involves operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment, following SOPs, and supporting continuous improvement across plant operations.

The position requires 2+ years in process operations, familiarity with PFDs/PIDs, and the ability to work rotating nights 6:00pm–6:00am. Benefits include health, 401(k), PTO and more.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in process operations, preferably in fertilizer, chemical manufacturing, wastewater treatment or similar industrial setting.
• Strong aptitude for chemistry, biology, environmental science or related field.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to wear required PPE including respirators, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment according to SOPs.
• Follow process instructions and safety regulations.
• Oversee cold startup and return to operating status after shutdowns or outages.
• Monitor process parameters and adjust for optimal operation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
• Maintain records and prepare regulatory/commercial reports.
• Troubleshoot deviations and escalations.
• Collaborate with maintenance, QC and supervisors.
• Perform lab tests on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
• Manage CMMS data entry and extraction.
• Operate lifts and cranes as required.
