Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Armonk, NY is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care and companionship to residents.

This full-time night shift includes one weekend per week; duties include assisting with ADLs, escorting residents to meals and activities, and supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social wellbeing while following Nurse Shift Supervisor guidance.

Qualifications

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification required.
• Experience assisting residents with Alzheimer's disease is a plus.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Experience with geriatric population preferred; able to assist with ADLs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
• Help in the Wellness area to ensure safety, comfort and wellbeing.
• Follow all policies and procedures and instructions from Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
