Job summary

Ecumen's Abiitan community in downtown Minneapolis is seeking a caring Resident Assistant to support residents with personal care and daily living activities according to individualized care plans. The role includes documenting services and assisting with treatments during a night shift.

The position offers full-time or part-time schedules, free underground parking, and a pay range of $19.50–$23.00 per hour, with pay and benefits determined by experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities per care plan, including dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, ambulation and transfers.
• Assist with AM and HS cares including oral care as needed.
• Provide memory care/ADL support and medication administration as delegated by RN.
• Observe and document changes in residents' physical, cognitive and emotional condition.
• Promote independence and partner with team members to support residents.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and lead resident activities as assigned.
