Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a hands-on Process Technician to support Process Engineering in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will perform technical testing, metrology operations, equipment troubleshooting, process experiments, and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key responsibilities include operating metrology and deposition tools, preparing documentation, and assisting with process qualification and optimization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical aptitude with mechanical troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a technical manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and experiments supporting Process Engineering.
• Operate metrology and process equipment.
• Prepare records, charts, graphs and other documentation of results.
• Adjust hardware and software parameters to troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on process and equipment issues.
• Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Support process equipment qualification and optimization activities.
