Job summary

118-WW TMG MFG OPS is seeking a Process Technician for our semiconductor wafer fabrication clean rooms. You will perform technical tests, monitor and audit line operations, and provide guidance to operators to ensure quality and yield.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve issues and support process development. Responsibilities include addressing production concerns, disposition of material, and supporting ongoing product introductions on the line.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule.
  • Flexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays.
  • Technical certificate or associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Automated Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Industrial Systems and Controls, Electromechanical Technology, or related field OR 3 years of experience processing wafers in an advanced production role in a semiconductor environment

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, audit and guide line operators to ensure product quality and yield.
  • Perform technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area.
  • Provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns.
  • Interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to resolve issues.
  • Dispositon of production material and support for process development and engineering personnel

As a process technician in one of our clean rooms, your responsibilities may include being responsible for performing technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. Once the product is on the line, the process technician monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators. Process technicians also test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
This technician will be an invaluable part of the team, interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production material.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule
  • Flexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays
  • One of the following:
    • Technical Certificate or Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Automated Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Industrial Systems and Controls, Electromechanical Technology, or related field
    • 3 years of experience processing wafers in an advanced production role in a semiconductor environment
