Oerlikon in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Semiconductor Equipment Technician 1 for Wed-Sat night shifts. Responsibilities include preparing coating systems, loading/unloading chambers, and making critical processing decisions. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, and preferred qualifications include an Associate degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
• Manufacturing / production experience required.
• Required to lift 44 pounds with extreme care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the coating system and load/unload the chamber with care.
• Set up and monitor the coating machines.
• Pre-treat a variety of customer products for coating.
• Make critical processing decisions and monitor coating.
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
