Job summary

Wolfspeed, Inc. in Marcy, NY is seeking a maintenance technician to perform corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance on semiconductor support tools. The role may grow into an engineer level position after training based on performance.

The successful candidate will monitor tools in the process area, create/update maintenance procedures, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine preventive maintenance using diagnostic and hand tools while collaborating across production teams onsite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Onsite in Marcy, NY required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Equipment in assigned process area and be familiar with tool issues
• Create/modify Procedures and preventative maintenance specifications as needed to improve tool availability or enhance training of technicians
• Trouble shoot minor tool issues to resolution
• Use of diagnostic tools, hand tools, and electronic measurement equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on tools in accordance with equipment specifications
• Establish relationships across each team on the production floor to drive strong communication and collaboration
