Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a SEM imaging specialist in Fremont, CA to support semiconductor applications using scanning electron microscopes. You will image challenging structures at wafer level, perform alignments, and help optimize images across diverse materials.

EDS analysis experience is a plus. The role requires AS/BS in a related field with at least 2 years SEM experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work a night shift.

Qualifications

• AS/BS in related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of SEM experience.
• Effective communication in English, written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to work a night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support semiconductor applications using SEM to image challenging structures.
• Image samples on wafer level: profile, sidewalls, and top-down images.
• Some experience with EDS analysis.
• Contribute to image optimization on the SEM for various materials.
• Help develop best-known methods (BKM) for SEM imaging of new applications.
• Perform SEM alignments and correct basic fault conditions on metrology equipment.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication with a large internal customer base.
