Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Package Screening Examiner in Indianapolis, IN to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sectors. You will screen personnel, visitors, and vehicles, monitor access points, and report security concerns while delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications include HS diploma or equivalent, background check and drug screen, and 18+ (21+ for armed roles).

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening required.
• Experience in loss prevention or access control preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and stakeholders while following site security procedures.
• Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, packages, and shipments per access-control protocols.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect items entering distribution areas; escalate irregularities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
