Job summary

AEGIS Security & Investigations is seeking an Overnight Surveillance Officer in Anaheim to monitor a high-end client site from 10pm to 6am, Tuesday through Saturday. The role focuses on crime prevention, keeping guests and staff safe, and delivering excellent customer service.

Applicants should have 2–4 years in security or related fields, complete BSIS training, and hold or be eligible for a BSIS Firearms Permit.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
• Completion of 40 hours BSIS training and most recent annual refresher.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Crime and violence prevention and customer service.
• Patrol the work site on foot to prevent and detect intrusions and secure entry points.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Conduct access control by monitoring entrances and exits of personnel and visitors.
• Respond to on-site emergencies by contacting local authorities.
• Interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and visitors.
