Job summary

Middleton Place is seeking an Overnight Dedicated Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment at the assigned site. You will supervise access control, perform hourly patrols, and respond to incidents while following post orders and safety protocols.

The role requires integrity and a strong work ethic, with shifts that include overnights; candidates must be at least 18, pass background checks and drug tests, and have reliable transportation and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Smartphone with data for reports.
• Personal transportation or reliable commuting.
• Strong observational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site for vagrants and security threats and deter unlawful activity.
• Perform hourly foot patrols of the premises and maintain visibility.
• Document foot patrols with detailed reports after each patrol.
• Respond promptly to incidents following established protocols to protect people and property.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure personal and site safety.
• Regularly inspect and maintain patrol vehicle, lightbar, and security equipment.
