Job summary

ProGuard Security Services is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and property. You will monitor access points, patrol premises, and respond promptly to incidents across California.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, prior security experience, basic computer and wireless communication skills, and strong oral communication. The role requires physical capability to patrol and coordinate with emergency services when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior security guard or related security experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency with computer systems and wireless communication technology.
• Ability to climb stairs and perform patrol duties repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility with access control systems.
• Conduct routine patrols, including stair navigation and inspections for safety hazards.
• Operate wireless radios to stay in contact with the security team and report incidents.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement or responders.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities and incidents for accountability.
