Job summary

ProGuard Security Services is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard personnel and property at the assigned site in California. This full-time grave shift position involves monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and responding promptly to incidents while complying with safety protocols and company policies.

The role requires excellent communication, basic computer and wireless device proficiency, physical stamina for stairs and patrol duties, and the ability to coordinate with law

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior security experience in a guard role.
• Basic proficiency with computer systems and wireless communication technology.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and repetitive motions for patrols.
• Strong oral communication skills with team and emergency personnel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility using access control systems and verify identification of individuals entering the premises.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property, including climbing stairs and inspecting all areas to detect and deter suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Operate wireless communication devices and radios to maintain constant contact with security team members and report incidents promptly.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, providing assistance and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping and accountability.
