Job summary

ProGuard Security Services is seeking a full-time Security Officer to protect employees, visitors, and property within assigned premises. You will monitor access points, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to security incidents while upholding safety protocols and company policies.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, prior security experience, basic computer and wireless communication skills, and strong oral communication to coordinate with team members and local authorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a security guard or related role.
• Basic proficiency with computer systems and wireless communication technology.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and patrol duties.
• Strong oral communication skills to interact with team members and emergency personnel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility using access control systems and verify identification of individuals entering the premises.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property, including climbing stairs and inspecting all areas to deter suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Operate wireless communication devices and radios to maintain contact with security team members and report incidents promptly.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for accurate records.
