Job summary

General Security Services Corporation (GSSC) is hiring a Security Officer for Saturday to Wednesday night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, 40 hours/week). You will protect client properties, monitor access, respond to incidents, and coordinate with post supervisors to maintain safety and service quality.

Requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver's license, clean record, English proficiency, and ability to pass background checks and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must pass state and federal background checks and drug screen.
• Basic computer skills and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities at client site to ensure safety and security.
• Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle and check for hazards or violations.
• Enforce post orders and security procedures for personnel and premises.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and emergency situations.
• Monitor CCTV/alarm systems and respond as required.
• Write clear shift activity reports and maintain vehicle and driving safety.
