Job summary

General Security Services Corporation (GSSC) is seeking a Property Management Security Professional in Chanhassen, MN. The role entails patrolling, monitoring CCTV, enforcing security policies, and providing high-quality customer service on the 3rd shift (Sat-Wed, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).

The position offers paid training, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and opportunities for promotion. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, valid driver's license, English fluency, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• U.S. Citizen or legal work authorization.
• Must pass State & Federal background checks and drug screen.
• Ability to meet licensing requirements.
• Excellent communication, administrative, customer service and organizational skills.
• Must successfully complete GSSC Basic Training.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking.
• Professional and confidential demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in a vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Enforces required security regulations and procedures pursuant to Post Orders and the Facility Security Plan pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Responds to client inquiries in an expeditious manner.
• Monitors CCTV and alarm systems and provides appropriate response where applicable.
• Ensures CCTV and alarm systems are functional.
• Reacts appropriately in emergency situations according to Post Orders.
• Generates clear and concise written reports of shift activities.
• Maintains safe driving practices and vehicle care procedures.
• Creates a positive working environment and strong teamwork.
• Ensures compliance with GSSC policies, federal regulations, state statutes, and client contracts.
• Interacts professionally with client personnel, vendors, contractors and the public.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
