Job summary

SGMC Health on the Main Campus is seeking a Full Time Security Officer for the Night shift (11pm–7am) in the Safety & Security department. The role focuses on enforcing hospital rules, patrolling facilities, responding to alarms, and supporting patients, staff and visitors to ensure a secure environment.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (preferred) and a valid driver’s license, with prior hospital security experience being a plus.

• Maintain good physical conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Enforces hospital rules and regulations.
• Conducts floor/mobile patrols for protection of people and assets.
• Responds quickly to silent alarms and security systems.
• Assists patients, visitors and staff to advance SGMC Health goals.
• Provides security rounds and monitors cameras as appropriate.
