Securitas USA is seeking a Professional Security Officer to protect client sites in Lake Oswego, OR. This full-time role uses access control, patrols, and incident response to maintain safe environments.

You will monitor premises, enforce regulations, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors. The position offers competitive wage and benefits with training and uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation including an MVR.
• Driver Certification.
• Must be able to walk up to 8 miles per shift.
• CPR / AED training required (provided by employer).

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property - (4 - 8 miles per shift).
• Respond to incidents / alarms.
• Coordinate care with EMS / Firefighters.
• CCTV monitoring.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
