Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring a Professional Security Officer for a full-time night schedule in Lake Oswego, OR. The role guards client sites, monitors access control, and conducts patrols to maintain safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, incident response, and detailed reporting. Requires strong communication, independence, and the ability to walk long distances per shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation including an MVR.
• Driver Certification.
• Must be able to walk up to 8 miles per shift.
• CPR / AED training required (provided by employer).

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property - (4 - 8 miles per shift).
• Respond to incidents / alarms.
• Coordinate care with EMS / Firefighters.
• CCTV monitoring.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
