Guardian Security Services is seeking dependable Security Officers for overnight coverage from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM in Niles, IL. This full-time/part-time role focuses on maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, enforcing policies, and responding promptly to safety concerns.

The position requires a high level of professionalism, strong communication, and the ability to interact with diverse communities. Night shift with a 10-hour shift pattern, weekend and holiday availability are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Access monitoring – verify entry and monitor for authorized access.
• Safety response – address safety concerns and disturbances promptly.
• Incident documentation – write accurate incident reports.
• Customer service – provide courteous assistance and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Policy enforcement – ensure compliance with community standards.
• Emergency coordination – assist with alarms, medical or police activity per protocol.
• Visibility and deterrence – maintain security presence and deter misconduct.
• Communicate with supervisors – report issues to site leadership clearly.
