Job summary

Silver Star Protection Group is seeking an Overnight Armed Security Guard for a part-time shift in Plainfield, IL. The role involves guarding client sites, patrolling, monitoring surveillance, and reporting incidents in accordance with client protocols.

Shifts run Thursday through Saturday from 9:00 PM to 2:15 AM. The candidate should hold a valid firearms license/FOID, possess a level 2 retention holster, and have strong communication and de-escalation skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid firearms license or certification is required.
• Active PERC and FOID cards are required.
• Must own a firearm with a level 2 retention holster or higher.
• Previous armed security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services at the client site(s) and protect personnel, premises, and assets.
• Be available to work various shifts and client sites as needed; schedules may change.
• Maintain professionalism in interactions with clients, visitors, and staff.
• Conduct regular site patrols and monitor surveillance equipment per client protocols.
• Document incidents or irregularities and report promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by SSPG leadership.
