Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring in Philadelphia, PA for a Security Professional Flex Officer. The position is part-time, with shifts 11pm–9am on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, at the 3600 Block of Spruce Street. Candidates must work outdoors, stand and walk long periods, and may be called for irregular shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Ability to stand and walk long periods; outdoor work.
• 18 years of age minimum (21 if armed).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
