Job summary

Allied Universal in Arlington, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Dispatch Communications Coordinator. The role focuses on coordinating communications, monitoring alarms, and supporting timely responses to security needs at a financial institution location.

You will provide customer service, maintain dispatch logs, and assist with access control awareness while upholding standards of professionalism and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Experience operating a Segway or T3 is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor calls, alarms, and communications; dispatch personnel and document activities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate notifications and responses as directed.
• Maintain dispatch logs, incident reports, and records; communicate with site personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols and adapt to varying client site environments.
