Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Security Associate to maintain a safe environment at the Columbus Distribution Center. You will support DC operations, monitor CCTV and access control, and respond to incidents to protect people and assets.

You will document security events, patrol facilities, and collaborate with the Campus Security team. A high school diploma and basic security knowledge are required, with strong communication skills and discretion essential for success.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Security-related education or training is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Professional maturity when interacting with leadership is required.
• Attention to detail and timely follow-through are important.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to respond quickly on foot to locations across the facilities.
• Experience viewing information on monitors/CCTV screens is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Direct visitors and control access at all entry points.
• Monitor traffic and cross-walk duty during shifts.
• Document incidents and accidents via reports.
• Oversee CCTV, security and fire systems.
• Conduct safety and security inspections and audits inside/outside facilities.
• Administer first aid when needed.
• Report safety and security concerns to the team.
• Restrict inbound/outbound truck access at DCs.
• Support Campus Security as needed.
