Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Security Associate to maintain a safe environment at the Distribution Center, with heavy involvement in day-to-day DC operations at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

The role focuses on directing visitors, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and supporting the Campus Security team. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required, with confidentiality and prompt action as core expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in security-related field is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Professional maturity when interacting with leadership levels.
• Attention to detail and timely follow-through are important.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must respond quickly on foot to locations throughout the facilities.
• Ability to view information on computer and CCTV screens.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Direct visitors and control access at all entry points.
• Monitor campus traffic and CCTV/fire suppression systems.
• Write incident/accident reports.
• Patrol and secure areas inside and outside facilities; perform safety inspections.
• Administer first aid when needed.
• Report safety and security concerns promptly.
• Restrict inbound/outbound truck access at DCs.
• Support Campus Security as needed.
