Job summary

Adient US LLC in West Point, GA is seeking a Seat Assembly Operator for the 2nd shift (8:30 PM - Sun-Thur until finished). The role involves assembling automotive seating units with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, using pneumatic tools and torque devices.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform manual assembly of seating components with attention to safety and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience using hand-held pneumatic tools and torque wrenches is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete assembly of automotive seating units while maintaining safety, quality and efficiency standards.
• Perform line assembly and support operations to mass-produce seating units per specifications.
• Rotate through workstations and build parts as directed on Operator Description Sheets.
• Monitor and complete quality inspections of work in progress.
• Restock work areas and report shortages to maintain workflow.
