Job summary

Adient plc in West Point, KY is seeking a Seat Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team on 1st shift (8:30 AM – finish, Mon-Fri). You'll participate as a Team Member building quality automotive seating units with a focus on safety, efficiency, and minimizing scrap.

Responsibilities include line assembly, rotating through workstations, stocking materials, inspecting parts, and using hand-held tools; candidates should be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in manual assembly or line work preferred.
• Ability to read and follow operator sheets.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Complete assembly of automotive seating units while maintaining safety, quality and efficiency.
• Perform line assembly and rotate between workstations as needed.
• Restock work areas and report shortages to maintain workflow.
• Use hand-held tools and torque guns to assemble components.
• Inspect work in progress and conduct quality checks.
