Job summary

Adient plc in the United States seeks a Seat Assembly Operator on 2nd shift 8:30 PM to finish. You will participate as a Team Member in manufacturing quality automotive seating units, using inspection and process knowledge to minimize scrap and rework.

Qualifications

• Must participate as a Team Member in manufacturing quality seating components.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must rotate through different production stations as needed.
• Strong problem solving to address workplace issues and ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Complete assembly of automotive seating units according to specifications.
• Perform line assembly and support operations for mass production.
• Use assembly fixtures and hand-held tools to assemble parts.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety, quality and efficiency standards.
• Monitor material quantities and report shortages.
