Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse in Maryland is seeking a Night Shift Seafood Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the nightly operations of the Seafood Warehouse and Processing Room, ensuring products are processed, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on schedule.

You will lead a team, enforce food safety and quality standards, manage inventory accuracy, and coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to resolve issues, shortages, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in seafood warehousing or processing preferred.
• Proven supervisory or lead experience required.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Ability to read and complete operational paperwork accurately.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nightly operations of the seafood warehouse and processing room.
• Ensure all areas are prepared and started at shift start.
• Assign work and provide direction to night shift staff.
• Conduct nightly safety huddle and reinforce safe practices.
• Monitor workflow and adjust to maintain efficiency.
• Communicate issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper product disposition.
• Ensure QA and VIP orders are complete and well labeled.
• Lead by example and coach employees.
• Complete end-of-shift recap and documentation.
