Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Part-Time Night Custodian to help keep school facilities clean, safe, and well maintained at our Jacksonville-area campuses. You will clean interiors, handle trash, sanitize restrooms, and support maintenance efforts in a busy school environment.

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma and about 1 year of janitorial experience, with the ability to travel to nearby sites if needed and a commitment to safety and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; facilities-related training is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of janitorial experience.
• Ability to perform duties and adhere to safety policies (OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Clean interior areas: hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms and multi-purpose rooms.
• Clean exterior areas: perimeter, parking lot, windows, and surrounding spaces.
• Empty trash; sanitize restrooms and high-use areas.
• Follow safety procedures and build preventive maintenance support.
• Travel to nearby schools or warehouse/storage may be required.
• Assist with training programs and review current janitorial literature.
