Job summary

Penns Grove - Carneys Point Regional SD District-Wide in Penns Grove, New Jersey is seeking a Night Shift Custodian. This full-time position reports to the Head Building Custodian and follows the district contract for qualifications and pay.

Responsibilities include daily building maintenance, boiler room operation, opening/closing, cleaning, and safety tasks. Annual salary ranges from $55,456 to $67,006, with benefits as negotiated.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day maintenance and cleanliness of the building, opening and closing on school days.
• Boiler room operation and maintenance; must have a Black Seal low-pressure boiler license within a year.
• Raise and lower the flag on school days.
• Keep exterior areas clean of debris daily.
• Sweep corridors, bathrooms, offices and classrooms; manage spills and waste."
• Clean and sanitize drinking fountains; restroom fixtures and surfaces.
• Dust furniture and fixtures; clean windows, shades and sills.
• Snow removal from entrances, stairs and walkways by 8 a.m. on school days.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Head Custodian, Night Shift Lead Custodian or Principal.
