Job summary

North Penn High School in Lansdale, part of the North Penn School District, is seeking a 3rd shift custodian/cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, functional, and secure environment for students and staff. The role emphasizes operational excellence with minimal interruptions to education programs.

The position reports to the Facility Supervisor/Head Custodian and includes cleaning, minor maintenance, event setups, and custodial security tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Physical ability to perform custodial tasks on a routine basis.
• Ability to lift, stand, and walk for long periods.
• Ability to work well with others and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs inside and outside cleaning and sanitizing services as assigned.
• Transports, stores, and maintains an inventory of equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Performs maintenance and minor repairs as directed.
• Provides setups for events and custodial security checks.
• Cleans carpets and performs floor restoration tasks as directed.
• Performs snow and ice removal tasks as needed and directed.
