Capital Quarries Company Inc. is seeking a Night Shift Scale House Attendant at the Danville Quarry to weigh trucks, issue tickets, and guide drivers to loading areas. You will record transactions, answer customer inquiries with urgency and courtesy, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Weigh trucks and prepare tickets for truck drivers to keep accurate records.
• Operate in-bound and out-bound scales.
• Direct truck drivers to loading areas.
• Facilitate payment for material and ensure data accuracy.
• Respond to customer inquiries with urgency and superior service.
• Communicate in person and by phone with customers and team members.
• Ensure drivers comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
